It begins with an estimate

Our estimators review project drawings and specifications to prepare material take-offs, fabrication and erection analyses, and prepare base bid quotations and value-engineered proposals.

then We draw

Our detailers study the contract documents to prepare Erection and Detail Drawings, using the Timberland (Tekla) 3-D Modeling Software, in compliance with the design drawings and specifications requirements.  

Then the real fun begins

Once shop drawings have been approved, the fabrication process starts.  It begins at the Peddinghaus drill lines, then to the fitting and welding stations, and finally to the descailing (shop blasting chambers) prior to loading the structural elements on flatbeds en-route to the job sites for steel erection. 

Finally, we change the skyline

Upon arrival of the fabricated materials to the project sites, our team of project managers, field engineers, experienced supervisors, riggers, welders, and work peers collaborate to put it all together in strict compliance with the contract documents and SSW's quality standards.
