In 2004 we became the first steel fabricators in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean to be AISC certified. Today we continue to break the mold by once again being the first steel erectors in Puerto Rico to become AISC certified! We are one of only two companies outside mainland United States to be erector certified, and the only one to have the additional seismic and metal deck endorsements.
The American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) is a non-partisan, not-for-profit technical institute and trade association. Its mission: "to make structural steel the material of choice by being the leader in structural-steel-related technical and market-building activities." Established in 1921, AISC represents quality, experience, innovation, and expertise within the structural steel industry; its standards are well-known to be rigorous and scrupulous, which is why we are humbled to be certified by them.
